Ada is one part of the effort we are making toward the development of software engineering as an applied science. The Ada Home endorses sound engineering principles, many of which are embodied by Ada.
Your responsibility, dear reader, is to be a good engineer, and in particular to keep in mind why Ada is what it is, so that you will not stray away from the software engineering principles that were carefully considered before turning Ada into an international standard.
